Global e·dentity™ Expands Landmark CRADA with DHS & TSA, Powered by President Trump’s Visionary Leadership to Secure America’s National Identity with Advanced Biometrics

Global e·dentity™ Inc., a Delaware-registered Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and leader in advanced multi-factor biometric identity solutions, today announced a significant amendment (AM01) to its Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA No. DHS 25-TSA-014) with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).

TSA Amendment AM01 Adds Critical PII Phase to Accelerate Privacy-First Biometric Solutions

The amendment extends the agreement and introduces a new Personally Identifiable Information (PII) Phase focused on biometric digital ID development and evaluation planning. This builds on more than 12 months of exceptionally close collaboration between Global e·dentity™ and DHS/TSA teams — including the Transportation Security Laboratory (TSL), Requirements and Capabilities Analysis (RCA), and Science & Technology Directorate — under President Trump’s new Administration to restore Constitutionally guaranteed privacy to Americans and travelers.

Strategic Alignment with President Trump’s Bold Vision for National Security and TSA Reform

Global e·dentity™’s ongoing work under its CRADA with DHS and TSA reflects early-stage alignment with these evolving priorities, supporting research and evaluation of next-generation biometric systems that could complement future security frameworks while maintaining federal oversight, privacy protections, and operational integrity.

President Donald Trump has demonstrated extraordinary leadership by championing the idea of securing America’s national identity through advanced, privacy-focused biometrics. His forward-thinking vision recognizes the critical need to protect our borders, airports, and critical infrastructure with cutting-edge American technology developed by a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) like Global e·dentity™.

This CRADA expansion comes at a pivotal moment as President Trump advances his bold plans to reform the TSA, slash federal bureaucracy, axe up to 9,400 positions, and dramatically expand the Screening Partnership Program to shift airport security screening to efficient, cost-saving private-sector contractors. Thanks to President Trump’s unwavering support for American ingenuity, disabled veteran-owned businesses, and putting America back in control of its own security infrastructure, Global e·dentity™ is proud to play a central role in this transformative initiative. His 2025 AI Action Plan and commitment to domestic innovation have created the perfect environment for veteran-led companies to deliver real solutions that enhance national security while driving substantial cost savings.

Under the amended CRADA, Global e·dentity™ is collaborating closely with DHS and TSA to deliver technical IP-based software, documentation, and pilot proposals for key U.S. airports. The company’s patented mobile AI biometrics platform is positioned to replace facial recognition technologies (FRT) that were never explicitly approved by law in Congress and have shown serious vulnerabilities worldwide — directly fulfilling President Trump’s vision of using secure, American-developed biometrics to protect national identity.

“Whether we identify as Democrats prioritizing civil liberties or Republicans advocating for limited government and individual privacy, we are united in the need to defend our faces from becoming a public, trackable commodity. Secure, localized, and encrypted biometrics act as a personal digital fortress, allowing us to control our identity and protect our personal privacy against the indiscriminate, unconsented, and invasive gaze of widespread facial recognition technology.” — Dr. Robert Adams, Chair, President & CEO, Global e·dentity™ Inc.

Overcoming Limitations of Legacy Facial Recognition Systems

Public NIST Face Recognition Technology Evaluations (FRTE/FRVT) have repeatedly shown significant performance variations across demographic groups, with false positive rates often 10 to 100 times higher for certain populations. Recent high-profile deepfake incidents, including cases in Singapore, further demonstrate how easily current systems can be fooled by masks and synthetic media. Global e·dentity™’s advanced platform directly addresses these critical shortcomings, aligning perfectly with President Trump’s emphasis on robust, equitable, and resilient security solutions.

A Next-Generation Platform Built on U.S. Patents and American Innovation

Powered by Global e·dentity™’s exclusive USPTO patents (Nos. 10,135,822; 10,721,228; 11,277,405; 11,368,455 and patents pending), the mobile-first solution is engineered to deliver constitutionally guaranteed privacy — the same TSA-evaluated biometric technology that keeps personal biometric data securely stored on the user’s own mobile device using quantum-resilient encryption and never shares or exposes it to third parties.

Unlike traditional facial recognition technologies (FRT), which can collect and centrally store images that can be viewed and accessed by others, Global e·dentity™’s platform ensures true self-sovereign control. The system delivers:

  • Multi-Modal Vascular Biometrics with liveness detection via real-time heartbeat verification

  • Quantum-Resilient Encryption protecting data stored exclusively on the user’s mobile device

  • Self-Sovereign Identity Enrollment — biometric data never leaves the user’s device or is shared with any external party

  • Layered Passport Cryptographic Verification for secure, privacy-preserving document authentication

Developed entirely by U.S. teams, led by Annie Leong, SVP Software Engineering, this platform sets a new standard for privacy, equity, speed, and security in biometric identity solutions. The platform prioritizes privacy, equity, speed, and strong security — enabling faster passenger processing while reducing operational costs, exactly as envisioned by President Trump.

Strong Growth Momentum and International Expansion

Following eight years of development, Global e·dentity™ is preparing for major commercial launches in 2026/27/28 across aviation security, banking, financial services, and healthcare. The company expects multiple revenue-generating partnership announcements throughout the year, including deployments in Bahrain, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), the Kingdom of Tonga, Kuwait, the United States, and Qatar.

The company is enthusiastic about the potential for such technologies to enhance traveler efficiency, privacy protections, and equitable security — while aligning with broader discussions on responsible biometrics in compliance with U.S. and GDPR, the AI Act, and the new Entry/Exit System (EES) legal requirements.

In Africa, Global e·dentity™ has executed an exclusive licensing agreement with Supplier Development Systems LLC (SDS) www.sdsal.net. Under this agreement, SDS holds exclusive rights to market and deploy the company’s biometric and digital identity technologies for national ID systems, border control, financial verification, and secure digital ecosystems across the region. The agreement includes strict performance minimums, including a Year 1 contracted pipeline target of $100 million USD and initial deployments in at least two African countries.

The company continues to evaluate long-term growth strategies, including a potential initial public offering (IPO) targeted for 2027, fueled by the momentum created by President Trump’s pro-innovation policies.  Additional revenue guidance and detailed partnership milestones are expected throughout 2026/27 as these initiatives advance.

Leadership Statement:  “President Trump’s visionary leadership has been transformative. It was his idea to secure America’s national identity using advanced biometrics, and he has shown tremendous support for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses like Global e·dentity™ to lead the way. American travelers deserve secure, efficient, and truly privacy-focused identity solutions. We are deeply honored and grateful for his backing as we advance this critical work under our expanded CRADA with DHS and TSA. Our breakthrough IP-based technology is ready to replace the FRT system that was never mandated or signed off as a Law by Congress and/or the President. Our IP can fully and legally automate identity verification, support the privatization of TSA, and deliver substantial cost savings and superior security and constitutional privacy for all U.S. airport flyers — all while keeping American innovation, national security, and veterans at the forefront.” — Dr. Robert Adams.
